New Covenant Sermon Archive

“And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.” Acts 5:42

Each week we gather on the Lord's Day to worship our Triune God and be nourished by the Word and Sacrament. These are important ways that we grow as believers and honor Christ our King. As a service to our church family and extended community we are offering each week's sermons online for our edification, unity and ongoing Bible study. As we're reminded in the Scriptures to love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul and strength; let us also not neglect the rest of that command which is to love the Lord our God with all of our minds as well.

For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.” Ephesians 6:16-20
